New Darksiders game teased by THQ Nordic

Darksiders
game
is
officially
in
the
works,
as
confirmed
by
THQ
Nordic
during
their
showcase
event
today.

The
teaser
trailer
shows
a
cavern
which
is
lit
up
by
the
Charred
Council
as
they
loudly
exclaim,
“HORSEMEN!”
before
text
pops
up
informing
us
that
we
should
“Be
prepared
to
ride
again.”

It’s
not
known
if
this
is
Darksiders
4,
or
another
spinoff
game
in
the
vein
of
the
surprisingly
good

Darksiders
Genesis.
What
we
do
know
is
that
Gunfire
Games
is
developing
it,
the
same
studio
that
gave
us

the
rather
meh
Darksiders
3.

If
it
is
Darksiders
4,
then
it
raises
a
few
possibilities:
would
Strife
be
the
starring
character,
as
he
is
the
only
one
of
the
four
Horsemen
to
not
star
in
a
mainline
entry,
or
would
this
be
the
game
that
finally
brings
War,
Death,
Fury
and
Strife
together?

We
must
also
consider
the
possibility
that
it’s
a
remaster
of
Darksiders
3
since
the
first
two
games
have
been
given
the
remaster
treatment
in
the
past.
The
trailer
feels
too
vague
for
a
remaster,
though.
