Nintendo 2DS Unboxing – New Super Mario Bros 2 Bundle

[Music: Timeout by Matt Steadman] welcome to unboxing week so our most popular video on our channel has been when we unboxed this which is Mario Kart 7 Nintendo 2ds So YouTube's made a little bit more difficult to build your channel lately so we're going all out and trying to push to get up to the level that YouTube wants us to be at and since that video did so well only solution I can really come up with is to continue along that same vein so today we're going to be unboxing this so this is the new Super Mario Brothers 2 Nintendo 2ds and is similar price point the same price point in America it's for $80 u

s I was actually able to score a pretty good deal on these but we will not belabor that so we're just gonna open this bad boy up and go through it I'm so it's gonna be pretty similar to what we saw in the other one I'm sure but I did notice just kind of for reference the box is a bit different the this one is the newer one here the yellow one and the box this new box has red on the top and this one's just Nintendo 2DS is just a red a Nintendo logo up there and this bottom looks about the same but this one's a lot more it's a port of a difference so these two ds's are not something that Nintendo seems to be really having much interest in stopping to produce which is interesting with the Switch out but let's go through this so similar to the last one here we've got the manual and the AR cards which as I said before these AR cards are a lot more impressive with the 3d version of the 3ds family system but we'll set that aside and then got our power supply here and underneath we have this system all right yeah my hands still broken so I'm gonna be a little bit awkward going about this but should be able to do it all right it's a pen aside so there it is that looks very nice honestly let's just kind of compare them side by side here so solid collar on the front there and then yeah so this one's basically just got red where this one had black and white where this one had blue but let's see if this one starts with a charge on it as well I'm just wait for a second looks like it's starting but well we'll see oh yeah yeah that's starting up we turn off my light see if we can see that a little bit better think about where you are yeah all right let me go ahead and go English maybe okay mm-hmm okay we'll just let it keep the original settings we're not gonna go through and set everything right now just pick a letter say it's January first sure we can live in Anguilla whatever I'm not gonna worry about internet right now all right okay and there we go I'll set up obviously not really all set up at in Lincoln intended network ID or any other things there's a reason I didn't do that and we will get into that on Friday I'm planning on having having an unboxing each day this week and then on Friday we're gonna try something see if we can if we can do something I'm not sure if it's actually doable but we're gonna give it a try also so somebody out there asked when we posted the last one of these to know what firmware version we've had on the blue one so you just check that real quick since they've asked people have asked before so it's a version of an 11 point 40 – 3 7 you so I don't do a lot of mods or hacking myself so I'm not sure what that even means but yeah you know and then I'm just gonna check here and yeah the game is right here pre-installed and there we go we are after that period of time we are already playing Super Mario Bros 2 so we're news and my brother's too which is just great super fast it's right there it's not like you can have a download or code or something you can just get going yep cool we're gonna play right now we'll be posting a video of gameplay next week on this but yeah that is the Nintendo yes music Mario Brothers to bundle so thanks for watching tune in tomorrow and we will be doing another one of these unboxings for another system so we'll see you tomorrow thanks for watching if you liked that video click like if you like what we do on this channel subscribe if you want to watch more of our videos there's two of them the video game heritage Institute is a 501c3 nonprofit organization preserving the cultural heritage and promoting the arts of video games donations to the organization are tax-deductible in accordance with IRS guidelines
