Metal
Gear
Solid
Delta:
Snake
Eater,
the
remake
of
the
original
classic
game,
now
has
a
release
date,
although
it’s
unclear
whether
it
was
meant
to
be
revealed.

EDIT:
It
looks
like
it
was
indeed
a
mistake.
The
page
has
now
been
edited
to
remove
the
release
date,
and
the
trailer
has
vanished
from
the
console
storefront.
Somebody
is
going
to
get
yelled
at
today.

ORIGINAL
STORY:

August
28,
2025
is
the
date
that
appeared
on
the
official
PlayStation
storefront,
along
with
a
new
trailer
(only
viewable
on
console)
that
also
revealed
the
date.

However,
it
isn’t
clear
whether
this
was
a
planned
reveal,
or
an
accident.
While
the
storefront
has
not
yet
been
edited
to
remove
the
data,
Konami
itself
has
no
mentioned
anything
via
press
release
or
on
any
of
its
social
media
accounts,
hinting
that
this
might
have
been
a
of
a
cock-up.

The
trailer
is
legitimate,
though,
meaning
the
release
date
should
also
be
very
much
real.

There
are
currently
rumours
swirling
about
a
Sony
State
of
Play
happening
this
month(around
the
14th
of
February,
in
case
you
want
something
to
do
on
Valentines
Day)
