numerous
updates
to
the
game
on
Steam
which
led
to
the
Hollow
Knight:
Silksong
community
collectively
silking
their
pants.
So
here’s
the
good
news,
friends:
Silksong
did
actually
show
up
at
the

Xbox
showcase
today.
Kind
of.

Despite
hopes
of
a
shadow-drop
or
a
proper
look
at
some
gameplay,
what
we
in
fact
got
was
was
about
5
seconds
of
footage
followed
by
confirmation
that
it
is
going
to
come
out
this
year.
Which
we
already
knew,
really.

Okay,
in
fairness,
it
was
actually
a
bit
more
interesting
than
that.
Silksong
briefly
appeared
while
Xbox’s
Sarah
Bond
was
busy
announcing
the
ROG
Ally/Xbox
handheld
coming
out
this
year.

“…and
the
highly
anticipated
Hollow
Knight
Silk
Song
will
be
available
at
launch
and
in
Game
Pass
when
the
Ally
releases
later
this
year,”
stated
Bond.

The
wording
is
a
tad
clumsy,
but
the
implication
appears
to
be
that
Silksong
will
actually
launch
before
the
new
handheld
which
is
due
out
in
Holiday
2025,
or
on
the
same
day. Typically,
the
Holiday
season
begins
in
November.
