Tony
Hawk
has
seemingly
teased
that
another
Tony
Hawk
game
or
remaster
will
happen.
The
Hawkman
took
to
Instagram
to
celebrate
the
Tony
Hawk
franchise’s
25th
anniversary
(might
I
recommend
checking
out
my
ranking
of
every
single
Tony
Hawk
game?)
and
hint
toward
something
else
coming
down
the
line.
“The
original
Tony
Hawk’s
Pro
Skater
was
released
exactly
25
years
ago
today.
My
intention
and
expectation
for
the
game
was
mostly
for
the
enjoyment
of
skateboarders.”
said
Tony
Hawk.
“I
had
no
idea
it
would
transcend
a
niche
market
to
become
a
massive
success
and
–
as
some
have
argued
–
change
the
course
of
skateboarding’s
popularity
(and
possibly
even
skate
trick
evolution).”
His
tease
came
at
the
end,
when
Hawk
signed
off
by
saying:
“I’m
not
supposed
to
tease
anything
else
about
the
future
of
the
series;
but
there
will
be
a
future.”
It’s
not
the
first
time
he’s
teased
a
new
entry
in
the
series,
either.
Just
last
week
Tony
Hawk
appeared
on
a
Youtube
series
where
guests
eat
what
they
could
choose
as
their
last
ever
meal,
and
during
the
interview
he
confirmed
that
he
was
talking
to
Activision
again.
He
also
confirmed
that
remastered
versions
of
Tony
Hawk’s
Pro
Skater
3
and
4
were
in
the
works
following
the
amazing
Tony
Hawk’s
Pro
Skater
1+2,
but
Vicarious
Visions
being
absorbed
into
the
bigger
Activision
beast
stopped
that.
According
to
Hawk,
other
studios
were
looked
at
to
handle
it,
but
Activision
didn’t
like
any
of
the
options.
Personally,
I’m
amped
about
the
idea
that
the
series
could
return.
I’d
love
to
see
the
planned
remastering
of
the
third
and
fourth
games
considering
how
awesome
the
first
collection
was,
but
I’d
also
be
intrigued
by
a
brand
new
Tony
Hawk
title.
