resurgence

players,
driven
by

Day
event.
Said
event
was

managed
to
break
its
own
record
yet
again.

The
catalyst
for
this
latest
surge
of
players
is
a
90%
discount
on
Steam,
bringing
the
price
down
to
just
£3.49.
This,
and
presumably
the
fact
that
the
game
has
been
back
in
headlines
lately,
resulted
in
a
heap
of
players
grabbing
a
blaster
and
hopping
into
the
action.

According
to
SteamDB,
Star
Wars:
Battlefront
2
managed
to
hit
35,892
concurrent
players
yesterday,
setting
a
new
record
in
the
process.
The
previous
best
was
set
last
month
when
just
over
28k
players
were
battling
it
out
for
control
of
the
galaxy.
