Rockstar
might
be
bringing
its
subscription
service
to
the
Nintendo
Switch
soon,
based
upon
some
updates
made
to
their
official
website.
Tez2,
who
focuses
heavily
on
monitoring
Rockstar,
used
his
Eagle
Eye
skill
to
spot
the
changes.
According
to
Tez2,
Rockstar
has
updated
the
GTA+
page
to
include
Nintendo
Switch
as
a
supported
platform,
although
these
changes
have
not
yet
been
made
live
to
the
general
public.
The
subscription
service
currently
costs
$7.99/£6.99
and
isn’t
actually
required
to
play
GTA
V
online.
It
does
provide
a
bunch
of
perks
for
the
game
though,
like
in-game
cash,
access
to
a
special
club
and
more.
It
also
gives
you
a
few
classic
Rockstar
titles
as
well:
Red
Dead
Redemption,
LA
Noire,
GTA:
The
Trilogy,
GTA:
Liberty
City
Stories
and
GTA:
Chinatown
Wars.
There
is
a
small
problem
with
this
idea,
though:
Grand
Theft
Auto
V
isn’t
available
on
the
Switch,
which
would
make
the
subscription
service’s
name
a
tad
confusing.
To
make
it
work
Rockstar
would
probably
have
to
rename
the
service
and
strip
out
all
of
the
GTA
V
perks,
unless
the
idea
is
to
let
existing
subscribers
who
play
on
PC,
Xbox
or
PlayStation
access
some
classic
games
on
their
Switch
as
a
bonus.
I’ll
end
this
news
article
by
saying
that
if
we
get
GTA
V
on
Switch
before
we
get
Red
Dead
Redemption
on
PC
or
a
current-gen
version
of
Red
Dead
Redemption
2,
I
will
scream.
