Sydney’s first car ferry (originally called the ‘Ticket-carrying’ ferry) is launched in February of this year and will replace the old Swan Point Ferry Terminal, due to be decomm올인 119issioned in 2017.
The Swan Point ferry is on the route of Sydney’s last remaining tram train. The tram train had ceased service between Swan Point and the north shore of Sydney in May 2003, replaced by a new tram line operated by Suburban City Transport. Suburban City moved in 2004 on its own tracks. Swan Point was not affected, though passengers used the tram between Swan Point and the north shore of Sydney. Suburban City’s tram services started again in 2005.
The main route of Swan Point ferry service is via the River Road to River Rock, which runs south of the Swan Point Ferry Terminal. From there, it runs on to the ferry terminal and finally on to the Riverbank in the north. It was a new tram line which ran between the south and north beach가평안마es of Swan Point. The new route will have more frequent service between Swan Point and the north beaches of Swan Point than was operated on the old tram line. The new Swan Point ferry terminal is under construction and opened to the public in March 2014, following the work of the Department of Transport’s Transport Design and Construction Services.
