Insider claims more Indiana Jones games are coming

Although
it
launched
two
weeks
ago
we
don’t
really
have
any
idea
of
how
well
Indiana
Jones
and
the
Great
Circle
is
doing.
Despite
it
being
an
excellent
game
(

I
loved
it,
as
you
can
tell
by
my
review
)
the
Steam
numbers
seemed
to
suggest
soft
sales,

with
just
12,138
peak
concurrent
players
.
Having
said
that,
it
has
maintained
6-8
thousand
concurrent
players
per
day.

Even
without
any
official
confirmation
though,
an
insider
is
claiming
at
least
one
more
game
is
already
in
the
works.

Word
comes
by
way
of

Daniel
Richtman
,
someone
who
typically
focuses
more
on
movies
and
TV
but
does
occasionally
venture
into
gaming
territory,
especially
with
an
IP
like
Indiana
Jones
that
spans
multiple
media
types.

“Looks
like
we’re
getting
more
Indy
games”
he
simply
tweeted
out.
It’s
possible
he
has
more
information
on
his
Patreon
page
where
users
are
encouraged
to
pay.
His
latest
Patreon
post,
which
he
tweeted
about
shortly
after
talking
about
Indiana
Jones,
teases
some
Disney
updates
and
thus
may
include
some
relevant
information.

Unfortunately,
Daniel’s
Patreon
page
is
also
the
reason
that
his
reputation
is
not
bullet-proof.
Over
the
years
he
has
been
accused
of
trying
to
drive
traffic
to
Patreon
my
making
things
up.
He
certainly
has
gotten
a
fair
few
claims
wrong,
but
in
his
line
of
work
that’s
not
uncommon
and
things
can,
of
course,
always
change
behind
the
scenes,
resulting
in
an
insider’s
information
looking
false
even
when
it
was
not.

But
in
this
case
Daniel
does
have
some
backup.
Jez
Corden
of
Windows
Central
is
a
reasonably
reliable
source
and
he
replied
to
the
tweet
with
a
GIF
of
Dwight
Schrute
from
The
Office
saying
“It’s
true.”
Of
course,
Jez
could
just
be
messing
around
and
having
fun.

We
also
have
to
consider
that
Daniel’s
tweet
may
not
be
inferring
a
direct
sequel
to
Indiana
Jones
and
the
Great
Circle
from
MachineGames.
It’s
possible
that
other
Indiana
Jones
projects
are
in
the
works
at
other
studios,
whether
they
are
remakes
of
older
titles
or
completely
new
games.

What
do
you
think?
Has
Indiana
Jones
performed
well
enough
for
a
sequel
to
be
greenlit
already?
Perhaps
the
deal
with
Disney
was
for
multiple
games?
