It
looks
like
you
can’t
walk
more
than
100ft
without
tripping
over
another
Xbox
game
being
announced
for
PS5.
Last
week
Forza
Horizon
5
was
announced
to
be
making
the
drive
over
to
Sony’s
machine
this
year,
and
now
two
more
Xbox
exclusives
are
doing
the
same.
RTS
games
Age
of
Empires
2:
Definitive
Edition
and
Age
of
Mythology:
Retold
have
been
announced
for
PS5.
“I’m
delighted
to
share
that
we
are
giving
fans
more
choice
to
play
where
they
want
by bringing Age
of
Empires
II:
Definitive
Edition and Age
of
Mythology:
Retold to
PlayStation
5,”
Writes
Michael
Mann
on
the
official
website.
“Playing
across
all
platforms
is
a
game-changer
for
our
franchise,
and
it’s
all
about
bringing
our
community
together.
This
isn’t
just
about
convenience—it’s
about
growing
and
strengthening
the Age community.
With
cross-play,
we’re
creating
one
global
battlefield
where
every
strategy,
every
empire,
and
every
player
matters.”
Age
of
Mythology:
Retold
will
make
the
trip
first,
arriving
on
March
4th,
the
same
day
that
the
game’s
new
Immortal
Pillars
expansion
launches.
There
will
also
be
a
premium
edition
offering
5
day
early
access.
Age
of
Empires
2:
Definitive
Edition
will
follow
but
has
a
much
vague
“Spring”
release
date.
Age
of
Empires
2
will
also
launch
alongside
a
major
new
expansion
which
is
currently
being
kept
under
wraps.
Both
games
will
feature
crossplay,
letting
PC,
Xbox
and
PlayStation
gamers
wage
war
against
each
other.
