Khaos
Reigns
is
a
sizable
expansion
to
the
base
Mortal
Kombat
1
game
that
will
add
a
whole
story,
multiple
fighters
and
more
for
$49.99.
“After
repelling
the
invaders
who
endangered
Fire
God
Liu
Kang’s
New
Era
of
peace,
Mortal
Kombat
1:
Khaos
Reigns
expands
the
story
campaign
with
an
all-new
cinematic
narrative,”
the
press
release
reads.
“When
a
perilous
threat
arrives
from
an
alternate
timeline,
led
by
the
ruthless
Titan
Havik
whose
sole
mission
is
to
throw
the
realms
into
khaos,
Liu
Kang
must
rally
his
champions
and
put
faith
in
his
enemies
to
defeat
this
grave
danger.
If
they
fail,
the
New
Era
will
be
reduced
to
anarchy.”
The
expansion
will
come
with
Kombat
Pack
2,
which
currently
will
not
be
available
for
sale
separately.
The
expansion
will
launch
with
Noob
Saibot,
Cyrax
and
Sektor
being
added
to
roster,
and
then
at
a
later
date
guest
fighters
Ghostface,
T-1000
and
Conan
the
Barbarian
will
also
be
added.
The
last
two
are
modelled
on
actors
Robert
Patrick
and
Arnold
Schwarzenegger
respectively.
A
free
update
will
also
add
in
Animalities
to
the
game,
granting
every
single
character
in
the
game
ability
to
turn
into
an
animal
before
obliterating
their
opponent.
Mileena,
for
example,
transforms
into
a
giant
praying
mantis
and
eats
Liu
Kang’s
head.

will
uppercut
its
way
onto
storefronts
on
September
24.
