It
looks
heroic
Jedi
and
notable
ginger
Cal
Kestis
will
have
his
story
wrapped
up
in
the
next
Star
Wars
Jedi
game.
That
the
sequel
to
Star
Wars
Jedi:
Survivor
will
be
“the
final
chapter”
in
the
series
was
revealed
in
underwhelming
fashion
by
EA’s
own
Laura
Miele,
president
of
EA
Entertainment
and
Technology.
Speaking
at
EA’s
investor
relations
day,
Miele
touched
upon
the
success
of
the
Star
Wars
Jedi
series.
“We
have
delivered
some
of
the
highest
quality
and
best-selling Star
Wars
games of
all-time,
with
over
$5
billion
in
net
bookings,”
she
boasted.
“This
impressive
track
record
includes
of
course
the
Star
Wars
Jedi
games,
where
over
40
million
Star
Wars
fans
have
connected
with
Cal
Kestis
and
his
arc
of
becoming
a
powerful
Jedi.
“Respawn
is
working
hard
to
bring
the
final
chapter
of
this
thrilling
story
to
players.”
This
isn’t
the
first
time
we’ve
had
hints
that
the
third
game
would
be
the
finale.
Star
Wars:
Jedi
Survivor
director
Stig
Asmussen
spoke
to
IGN
prior
to
Survivor’s
launch
and
told
the
outlet
that
he
had
envisioned
it
as
a
trilogy.
Asmussen
left
EA
in
September
of
last
year,
but
his
goal
of
making
a
trilogy
has
seemingly
remained
intact.
Of
course,
there’s
plenty
of
room
for
EA
to
continue
the
franchise.
If
a
fourth
game
is
made,
they
can
say
that
the
third
game
was
the
end
of
that
particular
story,
and
that
the
fourth
game
marks
the
start
of
a
new
trilogy!
Or
maybe
they’ll
actually
stick
to
their
guns
and
let
Cal’s
story
end
rather
than
keep
trying
to
milk
it.

the
topic
of
Star
Wars,
